POLICY FOR REVIEW OF ARTIST MATERIAL

Gallery Juno is a privately owned, commercial gallery. We represent established and emerging artists in all styles of work. Because we are interested in maintaining a long-term relationship with our artists, Gallery Juno takes considerable time to review your material before deciding to represent your work. Our exhibitions are scheduled two years in advance. Gallery Juno reviews all artist portfolios received by mail. If you wish to submit your portfolio for consideration, the following is our policy and the recommended procedure:

PHASE 1 - SUBMITTING YOUR PORTFOLIO
1. Submit your portfolio of artist material by mail to:

2. Your portfolio should contain:
1) At least twenty, 35mm, color slides of new work. All work must be currently available for sale.
2) A list of works, including: title, date, size, material, and suggested retail price.
3) A resume listing your solo and group exhibitions; references; awards; publications; bibliographies; major public, corporate or private collections; and education.
4) A statement of your work.
5) A self-addressed, stamped envelope if you wish to have your material returned to you. Please weight material and include correct postage.
6) Optional material such as CD-roms, video cassettes, color copies, photographs (prints) and invitation cards may also be included. All CD-roms must be Macintosh platform.

3. All portfolios received by Gallery Juno are periodically reviewed by the Gallery Director. Although there is no set schedule for this review process, you will generally hear from us within two weeks of receipt of your package. Gallery Juno will either

1) Return your material to you.
2) Request additional information, or ask to retain your material for continued consideration.

or

3) Arrange to visit your studio to view your work.

PHASE 2 - STUDIO VISIT

4. If Gallery Juno is interested in your work, we will call or write to arrange a visit to your studio. This will give us the opportunity to meet you and view the actual work. If a studio visit is inconvenient, we may ask you to submit samples of actual artwork by mail or delivery service.

PLEASE NOTE:

5. Gallery representation does not guarantee inclusion in an exhibition.
6. The artist is responsible for providing exhibition-ready (framed) work to and removing the work from Gallery Juno. Gallery Juno does not pay shipping or framing expenses.
7. Artwork will be insured by Gallery Juno only while it is on our premises.
