Internationally celebrated Photojournalist and Fine Artist, Jin Akutagawa, is known for his photographs of the landscape and people of Southern Japan. His work is a rare combination of extremely sensitive, personal attachment and the nonjudgmental eye of the camera.

Shown are gelatin silver prints from Akutagawa's "Whispers of 46 hundred million years" series and "My Walks" series. Akutagawa states, "The sea, being the source of life, has maintained the life system on earth. I drew to the sea as close as possible and calmly listened to the whispers of the sea. Did you hear the whispers of life?"
